Regal Collectible Ticket: AR: VFX: Dynamic Shader and Particle System

Description

For this VFX project, I developed a dynamic shader and particle system for the Regal Collectible Ticket, an AR collectible available to users after purchasing movie tickets from Regal Cinemas. This effect was designed as an engaging appear effect to make the collectible pop in an exciting way. Both effects were created in Unity using the Universal Render Pipeline. I utilized the Amplify Shader plugin to craft the shader and Unity's built-in particle system for the particle effects, with necessary sprites created in Photoshop. The setup was modular, allowing for easy adjustments to fit any 3D model and enabling the creation of new effects as needed.
